On the last day of the trip (before we leave tomorrow), we decided to head back on downtown to Market St. to see what vendors we may have missed on Thursday. After more shopping and meeting some really nice people, we learned more about what Charleston and it’s people had to offer.

Today’s venture brought us to the French Quarter of Charleston

If there’s one thing Charleston is not short of, it’s hot sauce

As we were walking some nice boys were making these flowers out of thick grass blades and were giving them out

Gullah is a southern dialect spoken in places like South Carolina by African Americans. Above is the Gullah New Testament Bible.

Afterwards we met up with my uncle who is from SC , and had a nice final dinner in the city at Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q.

Afterwards we headed back to the hotel to pack and get ready to pull out in the morning. I’m sad to say, today is my last day in Charleston. Visiting has been great and I will definitely be back to see what else Charleston has to offer. Thank you to everyone I met that showed me such wonderful southern hospitality.
